Welcome to Island Garage Doors. By requesting a quotation, placing an order or using our website, you agree to the following Terms & Conditions.

Island Garage Doors supplies and installs electric roller garage doors throughout the Isle of Wight.

• All quotations are provided free of charge.

• Quotations remain valid for 30 days unless otherwise stated.

• Prices are based upon information available at the time of survey.

• Additional work requested after acceptance may incur additional charges.

Orders are confirmed once written acceptance and any required deposit have been received.

Manufacturing of bespoke garage doors cannot normally begin until all measurements and specifications have been confirmed.

Where applicable, deposits are non-refundable once manufacture of a bespoke garage door has commenced.

This is because all doors are manufactured specifically for your property.

Our installation team will make every effort to complete work on the agreed date.

Occasionally installation dates may need to change due to weather conditions, supplier delays, illness or circumstances beyond our control.

If this occurs, we will contact you as soon as possible to arrange an alternative date.

Customers are responsible for ensuring:

◆ Safe access to the property.

◆ The garage is emptied where reasonably possible.

◆ Suitable electrical power is available where required.

◆ Any planning permission or approvals (if applicable) have been obtained.

Unless otherwise agreed, our installation includes removal and disposal of the existing garage door and frame.

We are not responsible for hidden structural defects discovered once the existing door has been removed.

Should additional remedial work be required, we will discuss this with you before proceeding.

Manufacturer warranties apply to products supplied.

Motor warranties are subject to the manufacturer’s terms.

Warranty periods do not cover:

• Accidental damage

• Misuse

• Lack of maintenance

• Alterations carried out by third parties

• Damage caused by extreme weather or flooding

Payment terms will be confirmed on your quotation or invoice.

Unless otherwise agreed, final payment becomes due immediately upon satisfactory completion of the installation.

Orders for bespoke products may not be cancelled once manufacture has commenced.

Cancellation rights for standard products remain subject to applicable UK consumer legislation.

Whilst we aim to ensure all information on our website is accurate, specifications, colours, images and descriptions are provided for guidance only and may change without notice.

Island Garage Doors shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses arising from delays, manufacturer issues or circumstances beyond our reasonable control.

Nothing within these Terms limits any rights available to consumers under UK law.

We respect your privacy.

Personal information is only used to provide quotations, complete installations and communicate with customers.

We do not sell or share personal information except where required by law or necessary to provide our services.

These Terms & Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
